Controller and Contact Details
Key information about the data controller:
- Controller: the operator of the tipsport-promo.cz website.
- Contact: email contact@tipsport-promo.cz.
- What to contact us about: questions on the processing of personal data and requests to exercise the rights you have as a data subject.
Keeping Processing to a Minimum
The rule on tipsport-promo.cz is to process personal data only to the extent necessary. What exactly is processed, and for what:
- IP address, time of access and URLs of pages visited, together with device, browser and operating system details: for operating, securing and analysing the website.
- Cookies: according to the rules described in the part on cookie files.
- Email address, message content and signature, if you write to us at contact@tipsport-promo.cz: to deal with your enquiry.
Outside this scope are data of Tipsport Vegas players and any data on gambling, payments or identity verification. The website does not process them.
Purposes of Processing and Their Legal Bases
The legal framework consists of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications (§ 89), Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, and above all the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the GDPR. The individual purposes are:
- Keeping the website running and secure: processing rests on the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); data are retained for a maximum of 12 months, or according to technical capabilities.
- Dealing with your email: the basis is performance of a contract or, alternatively, legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR); retention matches the time needed to deal with it, up to 6 months.
- Analytical and marketing cookies: processing is possible only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and lasts until consent is withdrawn or as set in your browser.
Can Data Leave the EU?
Can personal data end up outside the EU? Yes, if the analytics tool we use comes from a provider not established in the European Union or the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), which provide adequate protection for the data. Where no service outside the EU/EEA is used, there is no transfer to third countries.
How You Can Influence Your Data
Your position as a data subject can be used in several ways, all arising from the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. You can:
- ask for information on which personal data we process about you and for access to them (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have corrected data that do not reflect reality (Art. 16 GDPR),
- request erasure if the situation meets the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR (“right to be forgotten”),
- seek restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- take over your data for transfer to another controller, if the processing is automated and relies on consent or a contract (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing that rests on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdraw consent where it is the legal basis of processing; the lawfulness of processing up to the moment of withdrawal remains unaffected.
How to Apply and When to Expect a Reply
The email address contact@tipsport-promo.cz is used for exercising your rights. You can expect a reply without undue delay, but no later than 30 days after your request is delivered. If the request is complex or many requests arrive, the period may be extended by another two months. Should that happen, we will let you know.
Supervisory Authority

Protecting Data Against Misuse
The security of personal data rests on a combination of technical and organisational measures whose level matches the current state of the art and which prevent unauthorised access to the data. Data travel between your device and the server in encrypted form via HTTPS/TLS. In addition, the controller regularly checks whether security is set up correctly and, where necessary, takes further measures against misuse of the data.

For completeness: a cookie is a small text file that a web page saves on a visitor's device so that the website works properly, traffic can be analysed and, where applicable, content or advertising can be personalised.
